I Chess Recreational games was held on January 11th-13th in Hall 8 Function Hall. Below shows the list of Hall 15 players,

The competition consisted of seven preliminary rounds, semi final, and final. On the first day, three preliminary rounds took place. In the 1st round, our hall competed against Hall 11, leading with a score of 3 ½- 1 ½ but in next two rounds we were defeated by both hall 2 (score 2-3) and hall 16 (score 2-3).

In the second day, another three rounds of preliminaries were played. Unfortunately, we were unable to outwit our opponents in all 3 rounds. The scores are 0-5 (against Hall 9), 2-3 (against Hall 13), and 2-3 (against Hall 5).

On the third day, the last round of preliminarily, semifinal, and final were played. In 7th round, we were defeated by Hall 1, 1-4.

Nonetheless, our players did put in a lot of effort and credit should go to them for having tried their best!
