Bridge team defeated

Our players bowed of the preliminaries after losing all but one round to Halls 5, 10 and 12. Our Bridge team, consisting of Kang Chiat, Samuel, Zai Shan (picture) , Lun Sheng, Yong Huat and Maxwell could not outwit our scheming rivals in this game of tactics, skill and luck, however hard they tried. Faced with such formidable opponents, our heroes gave their all before succumbing to the inevitable. Nevertheless, the outcome's only secondary, enjoyment's what matters!

15's New Record - Semi Finals for Darts

Our Darts Team has surpassed itself and put up an incredible performance during this year’s IHG. We played two more matches for the preliminary rounds today. Our opponents were Hall 10 and Hall 4 respectively. We won both Hall 10 and Hall 4 with a score of 3-2 for both matches. The match with Hall 4 was the crucial one, as it would decide whether we could proceed on to the semifinals. Jasmine’s round was the last to finish and she was tricked by her teammates into believing that her game was the deciding one, when in fact the guys had already won three games and thus already triumphed over Hall 4. Having won 5 out of 7 matches, the majority wins earned us a worthy place in the semifinals.
Our team put up a tough fight during the semifinals but lost to Hall 7 unfortunately with a score of 1-4, Sherry winning one game. Nevertheless, our team definitely still deserves a pat on their backs for having made it this far! Way to go Hall 15!

First Hurdle Cleared; Tough Fight Tomorrow

The Team consists of Aaron, Guo An, Li Chuan, Julian, Jasmine (picture), Pei Yi and Sherry. Each time we played against a hall, only 3 males and 2 females were needed to play. The guys had no choice, while the girls rotated amongst themselves when playing against the 5 halls. The game started at around 1pm and ended late at around 930pm. It was scheduled for 8 halls to compete against each other, but as it was late it ended with only 6 halls competing against each other. Our team, after a long and tiring afternoon, managed to beat 3 out of the 5 halls they played, losing to hall 16 marginally and hall 3.
We’ll play the defending champions – hall 10, tomorrow. However, after seeing the performance of our team today, the never-dying hall 15 spirit – bring it on!

Weiqi Advances Till Semis

Our weiqi team has outperformed itself and put up an exceptional performance during the IHG. In the preliminaries, we managed to trash most of our opponents, namely Hall 16, 8, 6 and 4 by winning 5-0 respectively. We also won Hall 9 4-1, Hall 12 3-2, but sadly lost to Hall 9 1-4. However, having won 7 out of 8 matches, the majority wins earned us a deserving place in the semi-finals. Well done for having performed so well!
In the semi finals, our team put up a tough fight but unfortunately was unable to advance further with a score of 1-4. Nevertheless, we have seen the tough fighting spirit of Hall 15 and once again, the performance is commendable. Good job guys! Keep up the good work!

Snoooker Journey Ends At Preliminaries

The snooker team, consisting of Kok Kheng, Kai Tat, Kheng Wee, Yu Wei, Jia Yuan, Xuelei, Jing Yang and Wee Hong competed in the IH snooker preliminaries but unfortunately, missed out narrowly on a quarter final spot. In a double knockout format, the team lost 3-2 to Hall 5 in the first round. Nevertheless, the team had yet another chance to make the cut for the quarters, however, they again lost out narrowly to Hall 3, 3-2 and effectively ended their hopes of making it for the quarters. Still, the team put up a good fight till the very end and thumbs up to them for their hard work and fighting spirit. Good job guys and keep it up!
